我们在商务场景下，经常会遇到关于“产品上架和下架”的英文表达，经常有人会说“This product has already on the shelf”, 其实这是错的：

"It is already on the shelf"真的容易理解错：

(你以为)这个产品已经上架了。×

(其实是)这个产品已经延迟了。

那么“上架”应该怎么说呢?

“上架”的英文不应该用中文直接翻译，我们可以用其他词汇来代替：

This product has already hit the store shelves.

(这个产品已经开始售卖了。)

This product is launched already.(这个产品已经上市。)

或者This product is on the market.

既然如此，“下架”又该怎么说?

同样的，“下架”的英文表达也不能这样说：

This product will go off the shelf.

(你以为)这个产品将会下架。×

(实际是)这个产品有现货。

"off the shelf"是“现成的”而不是“下架的”，经常用在软件銷售：

You can purchase off-the-shelf software or have it customized to suit your needs.(你可以购买现成的产品，或者我们可以根据你的要求定制客制化服务产品。)

所以，下架正确的表达可以是：

This product will no longer be sold.(这个产品将会被停售。)

This product line will be discontinued.(这个产品将会停止。)
